Cleaning
Puratos Schobbers is among few importers able to fully (post-)clean Seeds & Kernels – in house – under its own supervision. This distinguishing capacity forms the basis for constant top-quality Seeds & Kernels which can be sourced from all exporting countries.
Screening
Many years of experience with industry leading bulk X-ray machines for agro commodities. Screening as an optical technology for safe removal of metal, stones, pits, glass, high density plastics, etc.
Sorting
Industry leading SORTEX A technology to sort the smallest and most diffecult foreign bodies and product defects.
Blending
Blending is a key activity of our processing lines. Client-specific blends and blends from our own selection. Quality homogeneous blending, e.g. seeds of 0.50 mm with kernels of 6.00 mm, requires the right machines.
Packing
Products are packed in different units. From small prepacked bags to ‘standard’ paper bags. From bigbags, Octabins to FIBC’s for large industry bulk deliveries. We use state of the art fully automatic packing lines for your made-to-measure solutions.
Milling
Production of specialty grains & pulses to whole grain flour and groats. Excellent speciaties for flour blends or to be used as a basis for industrial usage.
Roasting
Roasting seeds & kernels brings great flavor, odor and taste. Making it a ready-to-eat snack for e.g. salads, yoghurts or pre-packs.
Heat Treatment
Seeds & kernels – being harvested products of nature – are contaminated with innocent microorganisms in most cases. Sometimes with pathogenic microorganisms.
Coating
Due to a state of the art production line all types of Seeds & Kernels can be coated with for example salt or other water soluble components.
